Is it similar to the following bug?
Bug ID: 6577985
Synopsis: panic when zfs send a snapshot with i/o
errors
ttp://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6577985
Yes.. But instead of a file i'm receiving to a new zpool.
I'm away from my machine. (hence, i can cat /etc/release) But,
I was trying to do a zfs send / receive of a zfs dataset that had data errors.
While doing so the kernel panicked. But i removed the file that had the error
and scrubbed the dataset. This cleared the error and zfs send/receive was
successfull.
Is this a bug?. Can i submit a bug report. I have
Is there a standard tools to verify disk bandwidth for x86-64. (like io
Meter). I have been using standard tools like dd.
I understand that IO Meter is not available for x86-64. if so, are there any
chances to get it a ported?
Thanks

Today I was able to added a drive and formatted it as UFS and accessed it using
CIFS. I have the same performance issues.
I'm looking into to disable the CIFS server and use the samba server. Will
report back on performance.

I disabled the CIFS server and enabled the Samba server. I don't have the
performance issue anymore. :-)
I know that the CIFS server is still in beta, since i'm in b86 , will upgrading
to higher builds help?.
Has anyone have any similar experience?.
Thanks
Vijay

My system is running with AMD Athlon 4400+, 1GB ram, rge 100Mb/s ethernet
I'm able to create the CIFS shares and able to access the data from my windows

stick !!. Is this
possible?. If so, can you give me some pointers.
Thanks in advance.
