I downloaded the latest SVN source of Mplayer from the official website and
have successfully run:
./configure --cc=/usr/bin/gcc-4.3.2
But when I run make I get a single line error message saying:
gmake: *** osdep/: Is a directory. Stop.
What does this mean and wha
You can install MPlayer as a IPS package. Add these repositires

If you really want to compile yourself, then you should use the makefiles
especially for OpenSolaris. These makefiles are called "spec" files. Google on
CBE and spec files and you will see how to setup the OpenSolaris makefiles for
the various projects.
