install of opensolaris after upgrading to windows7 enterprise and had to
re-install OpenSolaris.

Mutahir, if the internet is running very slow on OpenSolaris like you say it
is, it's quite possible that it might be a bug with your network card device
driver. Are you using a realtek or nvidia nge network card? If you're using a
realtek card with the rge driver, then that might explain it as

- Grab the Firefox 3.5.2 binary from
http://opensolaris.org/os/community/desktop/communities/mozilla/development/
(opensolaris-i386 version I guess)
- Then follow the commands below can launch Firefox for you:
% tar jxvf firefox-3.5.2.en-US.opensolaris-i386.tar.bz2
% cd firefox
% ./firefox
