Hi,
I am currently running SXCE b91. My laptop is
extremely slow when running without power cord,
in other words, when running on battery. For
shutdown it last about 4 minutes. With power
supply (cord), the shutdown is done in about
a minute.
What can I do to speed up the latency of the
whole sys

I have done this. Checking the BIOS showed me that there is no
configuration for such settings.
The laptop is a Compaq nx6325 with BIOS 68TT2 (F.07) from HP.
Processor: AMD Turion TL-60

On AC power:

Hi Milan,
I've spent some time to check "/var/adm/messages"
once on battery, and the other time on AC power.
I could see a significant difference before the message
for "ehci" and "ohci":
pcplusmp: [ID 803547 kern.info] pcplusmp: pciclass,0c0320 (ehci) instance 0
