I'm finding that the Sun Download Manager is garbage, and I need to
circumvent it. The resume function only works *sometimes*, and the
downloads are not appearing where they're supposed to. In fact, I
cannot find the file I downloaded anywhere.

I have been using the non Webstarted download manager for years and
never had a problem and it still works fine. It is a pain to copy paste
all the links but will work.

which is why you use the -O option of wget, just

I just remembered that Suns web server does not support crash
