Yes I encountered the same error. It turned out to be a machine issue. I
changed to another hardware platform and the installation worked fine. The
failure was on a PRIMERGY RX200-S4. I am currently using NV 95.

It doesn't.
AFAIK, there are no plans to backport xVM / Xen Dom0 or PV DomU support to
Solaris 10.
It seems that Solaris 10 U6 (x86) will get special PV disk & network drivers,
to improve speed when you run S10 x
I had only allocated 512MB - 1GB lets it run fine :)

This sounds like it cannot find the java archive it needs to unpack in
to memory to enable the installer. Can you mount the image and send me
the data about what is in it, specifically under Solaris_11/Tools/Boot,
or /boot is fine.
