I am not sure if you are running your interfaces at 100 vs 1000, I searched the
bug database and found a related bug's of 6365376 and older ones in 6358827
(both are closed), both of you and any one else should submit new BUG on this
nge with driver on ether i86pc or Sparc. My nge is on a MSI
I too am having problems with the nge driver. Using a GA-K8NF-9 nForce4
motherboard. Not working with (from what I've tried) b52/53 or sol10u3. I am
also successfully using the driver from U2 without a problem.

I'm having the same issue with a DFI-Lanparty UT-SLI-DR. The only way to get
it to work is to pull the driver off of a U2 install. The nge driver will not
work from the U3 install or an snv_b53. Powering off did not work, nor
changing the BIOS settings as was recommended in another thread.
