go easy mate... just think about this for a second, let me point out one fact that kind of limits GPL V3 compatability. GPL V3 does not exist as a final license, or to be fair it is a moving target. Making CDDL compatible with GPL3 would be like....well...writing drivers for Linux (moving targets blah blah blah) ;)
Seriously though...don't you think you are jumping to conclusions. I have heard around the murky waters of idle chit chat and industry gossip that the choice of venue under CDDL may be changed to make the license more acceptable to Debian's Open Source Definition. Don't take this as gospel or anything. So my point being maybe you should wait to see what the final GPL3 looks like before you go and get your knickers in a twist.
