My experience:
svn_84 on MSI mainboard AMD64 Dual core with 4Gb ram, no problems with the
normal kernel.
BUT, with the xVM kernel, lots of problems, caused me to get another system with
2Gb ram, did I have a real hardware failure???
Problems fixed with:
eeprom physmem=60
So, just over 2Gb

Wohaa! What is this??? Do you guys claim that Solaris x86 32bit recognizes and
can use more memory
than 4GB (depending on the BIOS)? But... I have been told that no 32bit OS
can use more than 4
GB (windows XP users have told me that)!
Solaris will automatically enable PAE if you have

Hello all,
Is there any memory usage limits in latest Solaris Express Community, Indiana
using Pentium 4 (Prescott) 32bit processor with 4Gb DDR2 533MHz memory.
Windows XP Pro 32bit don't recognize all 4Gb memory.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Girts

I missed to say.
Without integrated graphics and using latest Solaris 32bit.
Windows XP 32bit recognize 3.25Gb of all 4Gb.
Thanks.

A single 32 bit process may not have 4 GB of virtual memory.
This differs from what Solaris supports as whole.

There is no limit but the BIOS may not enable all 4GB of memory because
