Title: T3 Brick Raid 5 vol add question

On a T3 Brick.

After several days of dead end troubleshooting and multiple replacements and rebuilds, we have determined that slot 4 on our T3 Raid brick is bad.  We are rebuilding this brick and we must use it until a replacement arrives.

Using the vol command we do

"vol add <name> data u1d1-3 raid 5"
"vol add <name> data u1d5-9 raid 5"

And of course this works, however we are losing two disks on each raid for parity.

Is there a way to do something like this: "vol add <name> data u1d1,u1d2,u1d3,u1d5,u1d6,u1d7,u1d8,u1d9 raid 5"

We actually tried that command and it doesn't work, but perhaps we have bad syntax.

The only other way I know of to skip slot 4 would be to do a vol add on 1 thru 9, and then disable 4, but then then we would suffer from extremely slow operation.

The point is, we have to use this brick for the time being, and we are trying to not waste two 36gig drives if we don't have to.
