In SXCE I replace Java in /usr/jdk/instances
Unpack jdk.sh in this folder.
Delete instances/jdk1.6.0
rename jdk1.6.0_10 to jdk1.6.0
cd /usr/jdk
delete jdk1.6.0_0?
delete latest
do: ln -s instances/jdk1.6.0 jdk1.6.0_10
ln -s jdk1.6.0_10 latest
cd /usr
rm java
ln -s jdk/jdk1.6.0_
I am having a hard time finding a google link that gives me the info for
replacing the jdk that comes with solaris.. to update it to jdk 1.6.10. I have
downloaded and ran the installer of jdk.. but like most apps on solaris/linux,
they seem to basically unpack and set up some default info.. they
