I tried a fresh reformat and install of snv99 and it installs a grub version
that can only read v12 ZFS... so I had to install snv97 so it will create a v12
rpool, then do an image-update, i will just hold for a while before upgrading
my rpool again.

Need to say that I have OpenSolaris on my Sony Vaio laptop. And I am following
newest releases of OpenSolaris: 86, 96, 97 and now 98. In between builds 86 and
98 ZFS pool version was i
ok, i reinstalled using osol 0811 beta snv99, and it will not boot either on a
fresh boot, it seems that grub simply has not been updated for ZFS v13. I am
going to reinstall using snv98, then do an image update to 99, then LEAVE the
rpool as v12 and not upgrade it.

After doing an image update I noticed there was a new version of ZFS, v13..
when i upgraded rpool from v12 to v13 and rebooted grub failed to load the OS.
Some sort of warning in the upgrade command might be in order.
