With both my dell e521 and hp a705w I just hit enter when moving the mouse
doesn't work.

OK Ill try that . It seem to do it all the time the screen saver kicks in. I
think the monitor had a built in power save option. Not sure if you can change
that or not.

Yes, the screensaver kicked in...might be having problems coming out, not
sure. You can try ctrl-alt-backspace to kill and restart X.

I have the opensolaris running and I walked away for a while and the screen
went to sleep. Ok not biggie. Move the mouse but nothing came back. I could see
the HD light flashing for a while then it went out. But the screen came back
with only a partial view and no mouse etc.
