So, based on this thread, now I understand IPS isn't yet part of Nevada.
But I still would like to download and install opensource packages in an easy
way.
What are some working solutions for this?
I have tried pgk-get pointing at the sunfreeware.com reposi

Nevada does not yet have IPS; so you will not find the pkg binary. Only
the OpenSolaris distro has it currently.

I've searched all the HD with find and the binary is not there.
