Hi all.
What is the difference of RGMd and RGMx ?
I found that the start RGMd will register rgmx_hook_call.
yet I don't know the difference of rgmx and rgmd.
How to define the node id for a non-global zone's rgm?

I upgraded to 2008.11 build 105. ssh to our OpenSolaris box from my WinXP
machine now works.
Build 105 uses sshd Sun_SSH_1.3 - works for me
Build 101 uses sshd Sun_SSH_1.2 - does NOT work for me
It could have been any changes to sshd/ssh/ssl or perhaps some tcp kernel mod
or something else.
Thank you for your answer and help.

I have a problem of DNS configuration for OpenSolaris.

In OpenSolaris, I configured that above,

Hello. I am trying to install SUNWgcc from the Package Manager, but the
dependent file, "SUNWhea" cannot be downloaded. It's as if the linked file does
not exist. Is this only temporary, or should I find a source elsewhere? Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recall reading that starting with the official release of 2008.11, official
updates will only be released with future official releases, e.g., 2009.4 or
whatever. Now that the dev repository (http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/) has
been introduced with the release of 2008.11, packages from succes

Hi Paul
Check if there is a .printers file in the user's home directory.
"_all" represents an interest-list of print queues for that user.
If lp0 is listed, commands such as lpstat will check for printers including lp0
which would explain the error given that no printer config exists.

It looks until unable to initialize T-state is supported with 64bit, you need
to use your earlier work around in "problem: Live cd wouldn't boot answer:
Booted 32 bit kernel and set acpi-user-options=0x8"
and you should submit a bugid on your dmesg output of :
prtdiag -v ; /usr/X11/bin/scancpi
ya I'm very sure on that,as I'm working on this with no problem at all.
