Hello, on my main computer opensolaris 2009.06 live cd wont boot. Qaud core intel Q6600 asus P5K-wifi motherboard Nvidia 8800GT graphics card. creative x-fi sound card. the error is "cant load console login services press ctrl +D to bypass" may not be exact wording. any ideas? thanks in advance

It has probably to do with the GRUB version. Can you boot, if you change the boot order in the BIOS? Don't forget to change hd1 to hd0. If this works you can check if you can chainload Ubuntu from the Solaris Grub. Them the next step is to swap both hard drives. -- This message posted from openso
