Hi, how can I install a package? I try installing a package but theres an
error saying that I need to go on the root but I dont know how. I need to
install the package of my wireless but I cant install it. Any help from you

What do you get as output when you run these commands:

prtdiag -v
pfexec scanpci -v
Can you run those commands and copy and paste the output here?
Also, what does the device driver utility say when you run this command:
/usr/ddu/ddu.py &
in a terminal?

I'm new to opensolaris.
I don't know if it's the right place to ask my question.
I want to develop a little application using wxwidgets and I have to admit that
it doesn't work at all.
I'm using netbeans (6.5.1 or 6.7) and sun studio cc compiler.

VirtualBox uses SVR4 packaging and installs with pkgadd and is removed with
pkgrm. I didn't know there was an IPS package for it, because I always use
SVR4, besides, the Readme for Vbox says use pkgadd and pkgrm.

Did 112 work, or earlier or even 10u7 from sun.com/downloads. and submit a RFE
w. prtdiag -v and /var/adm/messages from where SunOS loads up to the CPU
entries.

I keep forgetting that /usr/gnu/bin is first in my path. Thanks for
the reminder and as the Linux style --help says, it was defaulting to
my shell version. As you said, if the options are not in the GNU
version then the man page is correct.

had the same with update of AdBlockPlus ( but on Firefox 3.5 ).
Version 1.0.2 runs fine.
