I'm sure this has been asked tens of times, and still I don't get it.
Downloaded the latest Sol10 to install it, because the web page implied xVM was
on Solaris 10. But after the install, I didn't get the choice as I used to
under OpenSolaris (Nevada).
Now I wonder, if it has been backported or
I have a box with 4 disks. It was my intent to place a mirrored root partition
on 2 disks on different controllers, then use the remaining space and the other
2 disks to create a raid-5 configuration from which to export iscsi luns for
use by other hosts.

I have OpenSolaris 2009.06 on my laptop and want to connect to internet through
a USB data card (ZTE CDMA 1X MG880 model).
How should I load the USB serial drivers and then configure system for a dial
up connection using the device ???

2) If you can boot LiveCD then it will be good idea to place outputs of some of

Hi All,
I'm not sure what I'm seeing is by design or by misconfiguration. I created a
filesystem "tank/zones" to hold some zones, then created a specific zone
filesystem "tank/zones/basezone". Then built a zone, setting
zonepath=/tank/zones/basezone.
If I zlogin to basezone, and do zfs list,

I see two possibilities (after you restart from your hard disk, not live CD):
If grub is not able to load menu.lst you need to create the one in
"/rpool/boot/grub/"
If you see the grub menu but menu points do not
