Installed OpenBSD 4.6 -current using Firefox 3.5.7 and was able to reach www.namecheap.com. This points to a problem with OpenSolaris since other operating systems seem to be fine. Later I'm going install OpenSolaris dev build 131 and see if this happens which I expect. If so, then I may run
