Which of the above "worked perfectly?"
I've also noted a "warm" boot (i.e., restart option on the shutdown menu) from
snv_133 does successfully boot snv_134. It's just the cold boot that fails.

Thanks for your reply. Could you be just a little bit more specific? Which
release notes? (Don't see anything at
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Project+indiana/x86-2) Just a little
hint...

In Solaris 10, ndd did not support the elxl NIC; do you know for a fact it is
supported in OpenSolaris, or are you just assuming?
# uname -a
SunOS unknown 5.10 Generic_127128-11 i86pc i386 i86pc

ndd does not support the elxl cards, at least in Solaris 10:
# uname -a
SunOS unknown 5.10 Generic_127128-11 i86pc i386 i86pc
# ndd /dev/elxl0 \?

This has been reported for years in the standard Solaris x86 forums. elxl
NIC's (3Com 3c905's) to come up full duplex. Just tried the 2008.05
OpenSolaris release Live CD and, guess what, my elxl came up half-duplex.
Is this just something that's been abandoned due to the age of the NIC?

I followed the site links to the "Live CD," but this turns out to be a quite
old Build 79.
Is there a Live CD for Build 87/latest? If so, where to look? Thanks.
