do you have smbsrv running?
su -
modinfo | grep smbsrv
make sure you have these packages added SUNWsmbskr SUNWsmbs
pkg install xxx
or
pkgadd xxx
start the module:
add_drv smbsrv
svccfg import /var/svc/manifest/network/smb/server.xml
Start the CIFS Service.
svcadm enable -r smb/server

When I enable sharesmb=on on a ZFS filesystem, then I can mount it with a CIFS
client.
When the ZFS filesystem has a legacy mountpoint (because its used in a Zone),
then I can't access with a CIFS client on it, even if sharesmb=on.
