I've finally managed to make iscsi target work a couple of nights ago.
Today I removed openfiler from one of the 4 NAS boxes I have on production,
moved all it's data elsewere and installed opensolaris...
Will keep you guys posted on how it goes

That's what I'm trying to do but I seriously can't find any help on how to
enable and make iscsi target work on opensolaris 2008.11. I've already posted
for help on that...
Anyway, what I was thinking was that if you manage to make this thing work,
then that system of three raidz'ed pools,

I think you want
'pkg install storage-server'
to get all the iscsi bits in place.
'man iscsitadm' is a good place to look after you get that installed.

You could use nfs/cifs/samba for each of the servers that have the storage and
share to the other clients.

This is my new fictitious scenario...
We have three opensolaris boxes all configured with 3Tera raidz pools [4x1Tera
disks]
So on machines 2 3 we share the pool over iscsi.
And here comes the tricky part...
On machine 1, we connect to the other two targets, and use those two plus the
