Hello, I am trying to boot OpenSolaris (installed from 2008.05 CD) on a Simics simulator. Upon boot I get the following error message:
panic[cpu0]/thread=fec1dc60: cannot mount root path /ramdisk:a Do you know what could be causing it? Is it because the underlying simulator does not have proper device drivers? Is it because I didn't specify proper boot options? Any suggestions how one might debug this? Could I possibly glean more information from verbose boot messages?
