Thanks alot for the suggetions given by the experts
through the openssl mail archive.
Finally i established the communication link between
the client and inetdserver.But i used the existing
certificates that are given in the openssl.
Now shall anybody suggest me : how to create my own
server cert
I installed openssl-0.9.5a on Linux System
Iam new to this OpenSSL concept.That's why i tried to
bind the openssl connection to the socket without
sending the certificate from the server to the
client.Later i came to know that if anybody wants to

I had installed the OpenSSL software on my Linux
systems.I had written some client/server applications
using API functions of 'C' of OpenSSL on Linux .But
iam unable to run that programs & when iam tried to
run them, Iam getting the following errors.

I have tried to install the openssl(version
Feb28,2000: openssl-0.9.5.tar.gz) on my Linux systems.
But it is not properly installed.It means the temp
foiles are not installed properly.
I have followed the rules that are given in the
INSTALL file of openssl-0.9.5a tar file( after
gunzip).
The rules
