I've just downloaded OpenSSL 1.1.0f and built it from source.

Memory leaks didn't occur with previous OpenSSL versions using the same

Just built OpenSSL 1.0.2h from source and when running the tests I can see some
memory leaks.
The same did not happen when building previous versions on the same environment
and same command line options.

I've building OpenLDAP 2.4.39 from source under MinGW. A couple of questions:
a) I added '--enable-slapi' to configure. I got a few compilation errors. Is
slapi Windows ready?
b) I added some contrib modules (e.g. allop, lastbind, etc) and tried to link
them statically. Compilation
I reckon the commonName entry has different values depending on the
certificateType. E.g., email address if an end user certificate, etc)
