You should read /usr/include/features.h. The macros starting with one
underscore are supposed to be user-defined.
It is possible to use Apache to support multiple SSL protected
sites on one machine.
The trick is to add IP aliases. Each site needs its own IP address,
its own domain and its own certificate. Apache can handle this.
So basically everyone is mostly right ;-).

You can have multiple SSL services (httpd, ipop, etc..) each one

I am only using the cryptographic and BIO parts of OpenSSL, nothing to do

Is it still necessary to call t

The problem is not from Apache or whatever the web server you use. The
point is that named virtual host is not possible with SSL.
The very first thing that comes with an HTTPS connection is the SSL

Hi!
I'm making a csr using the Java tool keytool, I am then going to sign it
with the OpenSSL CA-functionality, but I can't. Here is what I get when I
try to do so (sign.sh is a script I found with mod_ssl to sign certificates,
but I don't think that's the problem):

Actually, I also think you have to validate it on *every* platform as
well. It could be validated for Sun, but that would not count for HP. This
was explained by a company with a Java based security product. As Java is
multi-platform by nature, the work and cost to certify was horrendous.

To begin with, let's note that Opera uses SSLeay 0.8.xomething (in
versions older than 6.0) or OpenSSL (0.9.6a in 6.0TP1 for Linux at
least), so it's possible that you've found an OpenSSL bug. However,
since there's no way to tell what they do, you should first
