To whom it may concern, I am in the process of obtaining a 128-bit SSL certificate from Verisign and I was reminded by a Miva technician (Shoping Cart Software), that I need to install OpenSSL and created tags in Miva Merchant 4.14c for OpenSSL. I have reviewed the documentation for ssl, crypto and Howto Certificates. I have a few quick questions.
1) Can I download the openssl-0.9.7.tar.gz file to any folder in the c: drive of our web server? Is their any other steps required? 2) Do I need to initialize the SSL_Library_init or this an example of the SSL process? 3) Do I need an OpenSSL Certificate, if I am a basic user of shopping cart software, Authorize.Net and Verisign?
