I have looked in the archives and cannot find anything that appears to
relate to this.

Dealing with a new ssl library is simpler to sort out than working
around this problem in 0.8.1.

PS. I've tested against 0.9.2.b instead of 0.9.3.b due to problem with
building on solaris 2.5.1, but that's another problem ;-)
