I have a need for some programs which call for some SSL files located in
a directory (/usr/include/ssl). I noticed that the openssl would install
to whatever directory I would give with the flag (--openssldir=/....).
That I understand is fine but the include directory, named
/include/openssl, is tacked onto that directory I gave for the
openssldir. So if I want it to install into the /usr/include directory I
gave /usr/ as the --openssldir. So I got the files to be in the right
are which is /usr/include but the name of the directory is what I want
to change. Would it be simplier just to leave it alone and create a
symbolic link named ssl? Or can I change it? The purpose of this is to
create a RPM of the openssl for free distribution. I use RedHat 6.0 and
would like to create RPMS for installation.
