Hello.
I am trying to install the
openh323gatekeeper (also called GNUgk), which is based upon the openh323- and
pwlib-libraries from openh323.org. While trying to install the gatekeeper, these
libraries ask for libssl.so.2 and for libcrypto.so.2. I had to
let a buddy of mine build the openh323-library for me on a Redhat Linux
7.2-based machine, bacause my Redhat Linux 7.0-machine hasn't got enough
swap-space to build this library. I am also getting messages about a missing
openssl.0.9.6 file when running a precompiled version of the gatekeeper. I have
installed and build the latest openSSL-version succesfully on my computer
(following every step in the quick installation guide) to try to work out
the problem, but I am still getting the same messages about missing files.
Despite I have installed the openssl.0.9.6g, I can't find any of these files on
my computer. Why ? Does it have to do with some default ssl-files in Redhat 7.2
which doesn't exist in Redhat 7.0 ? Are there any solutions to my problem ?
Would copying the missing files (from my buddy) and place them in the approiate
directories work ?
I hope someone can help me out here
!
Regards,
Thomas
