Dont feel bad, for 2 years now I have had the same problem and no one can
seem to tell me why I cant install it.
I believe that no one has ever tested it tis why no one can get it to work!

I have just tried to insall OPENSSL on my Wind2k
server. We are running the latest version of Active PERL from
Activestate.
I am using a C++ compiler called NMAKE to compile
the code as needed. Here are the steps I have taken and the error I get in the
last step of the procedure:

Anyone have any suggestions on how to install OpenSSL on an NT box? I have the latest Activestate PERL installed on my servers. I keep getting errors after I compile with NMAKE from Visual C++. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hey there,
I am using ActivePERL 5.6 release on Windows
NT servers. I have a few questions on the installation of you latest release of
openssl.
I untar everything into a temp directory,
after doing this I issue the command:
perl configure VC-WIN32
and the program runs its routines
