How to use s_server and s_client program

hi i am now learning openssl,i download openssl-0.9.5 ,i install it in linux,it works well.when i read /doc/ssleay.txt ,i have a question about s_server and s_client program.when i test the program i use server.pem ane client.pem which is copied from the directory of apps,and i can not

How can compile the openssl?

Hi I have the source of openssl(version openssl-0.9.3a),I compile it in Redhat6.2,I have installed the openssl,but can not compile enc.c and req.c,which both in the "apps" directory.The openssl is in default location,which is /usr/local/ssl.
