If your webserver is on the internet, go to
http://www.e-softinc.com/probe/probe.html and enter your URL
and it will tell you (not so subtle plug for our service ;-))
If not on the internet, (and assuming its running), use a
telnet program (or s_client in OpenSSL if it's an SSL connection)
