Hello everyone, Tarballs for the first release candidate for Nova 2012.1 (codenamed "Essex") and accompanying python-novaclient are now available at:
https://launchpad.net/nova/essex/essex-rc1 Unless release-critical issues are found that warrant a release candidate respin, this RC1 will be formally released as the 2012.1 final version. You are therefore strongly encouraged to test and validate it. You should test the tarballs above, but you also can directly use the milestone-proposed branch at: https://github.com/openstack/nova/tree/milestone-proposed Packages for various distributions should follow shortly. If you find an issue that could be considered release-critical, please file it at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+filebug and tag it "essex-rc-potential" to bring it to Vish's attention.
