Each extension is documented in a separate WADL file, and the WADL can be
revised to display the more descriptive status error codes.
Log a doc bug at http://bugs.launchpad.net/openstack-api-site for any
extensions missing the extra information you seek.

In Compute V2 API extensions (
http://developer.openstack.org/api-ref-compute-v2-ext.html ) , the expanded
documentation for an API obtained by clicking the detail button next to an
method shows only normal correct HTTP status codes. For e.g.
