The "name" attribute is visible and used in many API calls. Identity API V3
defines the following: domain, role, user, project group.

Are there any further syntactical restrictions on "name" attribute ? For
example,

Names can contain ASCII letters 'a' through 'z', the digits '0' through
'9', name between 1 & 63 characters long, can't start or end with "-" and
can't start with digit.

For e.g. are there any IETF RFC standards ( like RFC 1123 ) that name is
required to comply with ?

Right now, I can't tell because the type of the "name" attribute in API
documentation is xsd:string.

Thanks,
