I deploy the Kolla by using centos+source on centos host always.
Never see such kinda of issue. So i can not re-produce this
locally, now.

Hi,
I am working on a spec[1] which want to use the global environment file in it.
But I know that we want to stop supporting global environment files.
AFAIK, for the multiple heat-engines environment, there will be a few
disadvantages. I am looking forward to the new feature of replacing

Hello, Sébastien,
Thank you very much that you are interested in Kingbird, which is part of OPNFV
Multisite project. Most of discussion was held in OPNFV thread. Maybe it's good
to discuss whether to move the all activities to OpenStack thread.
And Tricircle is not only focus in NFV area. In

I'm seeing python34's gate job running very long and sometimes it is timing out
at 40m. There is something amiss with this and I've let Victor and Abhishek
know about it.
In https://review.openstack.org/#/c/313941/ which is a dummy commit (just
changed README.rst) it took 37m.

Hi, Jeffrey,
I tried deploying centos binary and source on my ubuntu host, which
completed successfully. Looking at the VMs on the failed gate, they
are centos VMs.
I think we need to debug this problem locally by deploying centos
kolla on centos hosts. Is my understanding correct? Thanks.

Ryan,
Thanks for taking a look at these - really appreciate it. I will work on the
rebasing this week and get everything current. At the same time I can get rid
of some excess code as I went through a few iterations to get to this point.
There are still a lot of unaddressed edge conditions
Hi Sebastien,
Totally understand your reasoning here, however there are some
misunderstanding :P I'm not familiar with Smaug, but Tricircle is not a NFV
specific project. We have use cases in OPNFV that is targeting NFV
scenarios.
As you correctly point out about the state of the VM, and

First, apologies for the cross-posting, but when this topic came up last
week,
I wasn't able to keep track of all the folks that asked to be included in

so I'm doing a mass post to try and catch everybody that might be

Second, John, thank you for stepping forward and
Thanks for raising this. However we have "good" reasons to not talk
about Smaug and Tricircle.
Those 2 are really focus on NFV use cases, where in our scenario we
"only" save Cinder blocks and Glance images.
We do not guarantee the state of the VMs not want to replicate it.
We really aim for a

Hi, Jeffrey,
Then the precheck should check for backend overlay fs on Ubuntu
trusty, rather than the kernel version.
In fact, the deploy gate job did success with kernel 3.13 [1]. The
existing checking for kernel 4.2 causes false alarm.

In Go 1.5, the -buildmode option was introduced (eg. -buildmode=shared):
Thanks Chenzeng.
A major use case for invoking the parent PreActivity before the child

Are there use cases for child activity before the parent activity, which are

Hi,
I got confused here. When a new version of kernel is installed and by
checking "uname -r", what i saw that the server is using wily. Why it is
not used in this case?
Thanks in advanced,

Agree with you that it's a challenge to explain Tricircle and cross OpenStack

cross OpenStack L2 networking?

Hi,
