Thanks for taking this on, Victor.
Do you have a small eventlet program example that you can show the
transformation to asyncio?
Thanks, -peter

Hi Sean,
In the last 7 days I see only 6 python27 based test failures:
http://logstash.openstack.org/#eyJzZWFyY2giOiJwcm9qZWN0Olwib3BlbnN0YWNrL3N3aWZ0XCIgQU5EIGJ1aWxkX3F1ZXVlOmdhdGUgQU5EIGJ1aWxkX25hbWU6Z2F0ZS1zd2lmdC1weXRob24qIEFORCBtZXNzYWdlOlwiRVJST1I6ICAgcHkyNzogY29tbWFuZHMgZmFpbGVkXCIiLCJmaWVs
Hi Sean,
Given the swift failure happened once in the available logstash recorded
history, do we still feel this is a major gate issue?
See:
http://logstash.openstack.org/#eyJzZWFyY2giOiJtZXNzYWdlOlwiRkFJTDogdGVzdF9ub2RlX3dyaXRlX3RpbWVvdXRcIiIsImZpZWxkcyI6W10sIm9mZnNldCI6MCwidGltZWZyYW1lIjoiYWxsI
Can you consider issuing the check job before forwarding to the gate if the
current patch set is not already (re)based against master? That way, if it
is, and there was a successful check job, even if it was days old, a new
one would not be needed? Perhaps?

Has anybody considered changing how check and gate jobs work such that
the tempest and grenade checks only run once the docs/pep8/unittests
jobs all succeed?
It seems like they complete so much quicker that folks can fix those
bugs before having to wait hours for the other jobs.
Thoughts, concern
Giulio, are you speaking for Red Hat here, or is this just your
opinion? And have you actually tried to doing what you propose?

Hi Alex,
It seems that this is likely an rsyslog limit, so you might want to
check out: http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/rsyslog_conf_global.html
Specifically, the info on "$MaxMessageSize"
