The rescue feature [1] is an high priority for ironic in Queens. The spec
for the same was merged in Newton. This feature is necessary for users that
lose regular access to their machine (e.g. lost passwords).
Landing node rescue feature late in the cycle will lead to less time being
available
I'm +1 on this, because the feature has been proposed for a while (has changed
the contributor group at least once) and is needed for feature parity with
virtual machines in nova.
