Hey folks, Summit space is a bit more constrained compared to Austin and there are more teams to accommodate. Also there are no full day contributor meetups. As a result, unlike past summits Koalleans have participated in, Friday is being scheduled by the foundation for workroom sessions and afternoon half-day contributor meetups.
The result is Friday is not really an optional day as it has been typically viewed in the past. I'd ask that you do what you can to arrange your schedule if your interested in participating in Kolla design sessions around departing at the earliest Saturday of summit week to allow for full participation in the half day contributor meetup. Also it is highly likely that some design sessions will be scheduled Friday morning as well. That said, the scheduling hasn't finalized and we may not be granted a half day contributor meetup or workroom sessions on Friday morning. I will provide further details relating to the Friday schedule as the OpenStack foundation completes scheduling. I don't know when the scheduling will complete but will provide further details as soon as I have relevant information. Regards -steve
