Hi team,
Sorry for this long overdue summary. During the Dublin PTG as a WG we held
two successful discussion sessions on Mon and Tues, and below are the
conclusions for this year's planning as far as I could recall. Please feel
free to provide further feedback :)

Hi,
This is a very strange behaviour that has causing me issues with my SAN ever
since we upgraded to Mitaka or Ocata I believe, several months ago.
Essentially, I used to be able to change the ID of a disk in the SAN to swap
the disk in Openstack. So, for example, I had disk 1. I could restore
Hi Tim,
Sorry for the delay in response, and thank you for bringing this up. We tried
to clarify the Networking Drivers by explicitly specifying each distinct driver
that might be selected and noting which ones were ML2, but we're also open to
other ideas if people have suggestions.
Cheers,

The benchmarks DO appear to show a modest improvement.
In the bugzilla post you linked, Paolo said that
"With 4k logical sector size in the host, you must have a 4k logical
sector size in the guest too."
So it appears you'd need to use a disk that physically supports it, along
with an OS that su

Douaa can you provide details on the error you are getting? Also I am
adding the Operators ML as some more practitioners may be able to see it
from there.

Has anyone experience of working with local disks or volumes with
physical/logical block sizes of 4K rather than 512?
There seems to be KVM support for this

but I could not see how to get the appropriate f

Hello Massimo,
what we suggest to our users, is to migrate a volume, and to create a
new VM from that volume.
https://help.switch.ch/engines/documentation/migrating-resources/
the bad thing is that the new VM has a new IP address, so eventually
DNS records have to be updated by the users.

Hello,
the I18n team wants to change something in collaboration and
communication with other teams and users. Instead of team meetings we
offer around the Summit an open communication on Freenode IRC
#openstack-i18n channel. Feel free to add your topics on the wiki page
on [1]. Or better joi
