and lt_serial) available? I am running opensuse SLICK and can find no
reference to those files in the repositories that I access.

I have a USB harddrive. Currently, when I plug it in a mounting directory is
created with owner:user of root:root and permissions of 777.
I would like to change those settings when the directory is created. Would
someone advise where those directory parameters set?

I did a update this AM as SMART indicated that there were updates available.
