So far no freeze today but I'd bett it will happen. If not I write
again, tomorrow...
A new appearance occured! Now it isn't freezing anymore it is turning
off! The screen gets black and the monitor goes stand by. WHY?
Anybody who has a ATI X300??

Yes I did. When building the rpm it says (I'm concerned about the 9th line):

Yes, I've had experiences with ATI 8.32.5 (x86_64), and they still keep
me awake at night. I have Radeon X800 XL. Making the *.rpm went fine;
installing it -- no problemo -- configuring X... no, I couldn't get that
'Sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx' thing working, so I started YaST as usual instead
