I am running opensuse 10.2 32bit. I need to compile the kernel with CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS enabled because of certain USB issues and vmware running a Windows guest. My current kernel is 2.16.18.8-0.1-default. My goal was to to compile a kernel with the CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS enabled and call it
