--------------------------- If the location you mention is in fact the location of other themes, then there should be nothing to do but use them by selecting it from your gnome control center. I haven't used Gnome as a window manager, so I can mostly only remark about the KDE locations. Normally if you add a theme of icons to KDE, you just copy the icon directory into your ~/.kde/share/icons/ directory or you add them via the KDE control center where you choose the icon theme you want to use. They are still stored in the same location though when you add them. It's quite possible that the gnome control center will let you add them as well. It is also quite possible that the new themes will be stored in your ~/.gnome or gtk2 directory. On that, you'll have to check as I don't have gnome installed on my Zenwalk system.
