Hi, I'm a little bit confused about all the Xgl and compiz/beryl stuff.

I installed Xgl and compiz, but my KDE login screen doesn't appear
anymore. I just have a grey/green screen asking me for my
login/password combination and a little window titled XConsole which
seems to be a kind of terminal. Is this a know problem of compiz/beryl
with KDE?.

And the last thing is that I installed beryl after compiz because just
when a website told me that compiz was needed to run Xgl, I read in
another one that beryl was better. So, I want to know a few answers
for these questions:

1) Is it beryl a kind of KDE/Gnome/XFCE/Fluxbox... desktop manager?.
2) How do I know what is Xgl using, I mean compiz or beryl?
3) Any other recommendations I should take care of.

I have a Nvida MX 4000 128MB graphic card with drivers installed through YaST.

And by the way, I'd wish to congratulate developers involved with this
project, great work guys !!!.
