[opensuse] Statically linked openmotif applications core dump on startup

Hi, I am having problems with statically linked openmotif applications core dumping on opensuse 10.2. These applications worked fine on suse 9.3. When linked dynamically these applications seem to work fine. I get no compile or link errors. If I try to get a backtrace from the core file using gdb
