I am using the latest openSUSE-10.3 on x86 platform. When
I tried to install AdobeReader-8.1.1 from adobe.com. I get the following
error.

no idea. i am just using whatever came with 10.3 to read pdf's. will
worry about upgrading to adobe reader if that ever breaks on me.
looking at the requs:
http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/productinfo/systemreqs/index.html#80linux
it sounds like it's supposed to work fine.
