i think i found out what the problem is, after a small search on webpin, it turned out that the current libtool package is not compatible with gtk2-devel-2.10.11 in the GNOME:STABLE repo, because it stores the lib files in /usr/lib/ instead of 10.2's default /opt/gnome/lib. i was able to fix the m
