And I thought I could view a video from Novell by using a
NLD targets enterprise customer with the following advantages:
- Life cycle of the products [5 years]
- Time between release X and release X+1 [2 years] where opensuse is [6
months] (Note: this is mandatory for hardware and software vendors to have
enough time to certify their products on Linux).

You are thing of Novell SUSE Linux, this guy is talking about Novell Linux
Desktop 10... Two different beasts.
Novell Linux Desktop is a corporate solution, it has a more tightly controlled
list of available packages, has tools for pushing updates to the desktop from
a central source etc. and y

but is it worth $50+, probably not. Oh, having the distro on DVD is kinda
cool, but it'll be obsolete once 10.1 comes out.
